Your whole band, in one app

Rehearsals, performances, attendance, repertoire and sheet music for your concert band. Organised in one place, and on every musician’s phone.

Free · No limit on musicians

The band, always up to date

Everything about the band in one place, so no musician finds out about anything too late.

Nothing gets lost

Every rehearsal, every performance and every last-minute change stays where the whole band can see it.

Everyone knows their part

What time to be there, which part they play in each piece and where their sheet music is, without having to ask.

Running it takes less work

Musicians reply from their phone, the count adds itself up and each section shares out its own parts.

Get started in three steps

In a few minutes your band is set up and ready for the next rehearsal.

  1. 1

    Create your band

It takes a minute. Sections and instruments come already set up.

  2. 2

    Invite the musicians

Share an invitation link. Each musician joins, picks their instrument and lands in their section.

  3. 3

    Call the first rehearsal

It reaches every musician’s phone: they confirm whether they are coming, see their part and open their sheet music.

Everything a concert band needs

Made for a band’s day-to-day: rehearsals, concerts, processions and street parades.

Sheet music

Sheet music, on the phone

Every musician opens their sheet music at rehearsal or at the concert, from a phone or tablet. The band’s whole library, always at hand.

  • Full-screen reader
  • Zoom, page rotation and page turns with a tap
  • Annotations and highlighting on the sheet itself
  • Download it so it is there even with no signal

Sections

Each section shares out its parts

The musicians in each section decide between themselves who plays which part, just as they already do at rehearsal. And if needed, the conductor can do the assigning.

  • Musicians share out the parts within their section
  • The conductor can make or change the assignments at any time
  • See at a glance which parts are still uncovered

Attendance

Know who is coming, without asking

Each musician confirms with a tap and the count updates straight away. On the day of the rehearsal or concert, you take the register from the app.

  • Counts by section: you know how many are missing and on which instrument
  • Deps and musicians without an account are counted too
  • Automatic reminder for anyone who has not replied

Calendar

The whole month at a glance

Concerts, processions, street parades and rehearsals, each with its own colour. And it syncs with your phone’s calendar, so it is always up to date.

  • Synced with your phone’s calendar
  • Events for a single section, such as a sectional concert
  • A colour per kind of event, and cancellations stand out instantly
  • Directions to every performance, on the map

My stand

What do I play

The conductor announces the next piece and every musician instantly sees which part is theirs. The concert programme is numbered, in the order it is played.

  • Opens straight into the next performance
  • Your part for each piece, in large type
  • And the full assignment list for your section

And also

Repertoire and programme

All the band’s pieces in one place, and each concert’s programme in order.

Notifications

If a rehearsal time changes, every musician gets an alert on their phone.

Musicians and invitations

Every musician organised by section. New ones can be added with an invitation link.

Venues

Save your rehearsal venue and check on the map where each performance is.

An app on every musician’s phone

It installs to the home screen and opens like any other app.

Installs on the phone

It is added to the home screen with its own icon and opens full screen, like any other app.

iPhone, Android and tablet

The same app on all of them. On a tablet, sheet music looks like it does on a real stand.

Light, dark and two languages

It follows each person’s phone, in Spanish or English.

Always up to date

Improvements arrive straight in the app, without anyone having to update anything.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Right now Atril is free, with no limit on musicians and no card required. If paid plans ever arrive, we will say so in advance and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Is there a limit on musicians?

No. Your whole roster fits, whether the band has twenty musicians or a hundred and twenty, including those without an account and deps brought in for a single performance.

How do musicians join the band?

You generate an invitation link and share it. Each musician joins, picks the instrument they play, and lands in their section automatically. You do not have to add them one by one.

Does it install on the phone?

Yes. It is added to the home screen with its own icon and opens full screen, like any other app. Improvements arrive straight in the app, without having to update anything.

Do I have to assign parts for the whole band myself?

You do not need to. The musicians in each section share out the parts between themselves, just as they already do at rehearsal. If it is ever needed, the conductor can make or change the assignments for the whole band.

Can I tell whether I am short of musicians for a performance?

Yes. Once the parts a piece calls for have been declared — done once, and it applies to every concert where you play it — Atril shows, section by section, whether it is covered or which parts are missing.

Can I upload the band’s sheet music?

Yes. You upload a PDF for each part and musicians open their own from their stand, in a full-screen reader where they can zoom, turn pages with a tap, add annotations and download it.

Who can see the sheet music?

Only musicians in your band. No other band has access to your library, and it is never published anywhere.

Does it work for processions and street parades, or only concerts?

For all of them. Rehearsals, concerts, processions, street parades and marches, each with its own colour on the calendar. The form adapts to each type.

What about musicians without an account, or deps?

They are on the roster all the same. Admins can set their attendance and take their register even if they have never opened the app.

Can I play in several bands?

Yes. One account can belong to several bands, and you switch between them without logging in again.
