Terms of use

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These terms govern the use of Atril, the management service for concert bands offered by Darío Pastor Fuentes at app.useatril.com. By creating an account you accept them.

What Atril is

A tool for a concert band to organise its calendar, its roster, attendance at rehearsals and performances, the assignment of parts, and its sheet music. It is provided over the internet, with nothing to install.

The beta

Atril is in beta: it is used in real conditions, but it is still being built. In plain terms that means:

  • It is free for as long as this stage lasts.
  • There may be faults, and a feature may change or disappear.
  • We take backups, but we do not guarantee continuous availability. Do not use it as your only sheet music archive.
  • If paid plans ever arrive, we will give reasonable notice and nothing will be charged without your express acceptance.

Your account

  • The details you give must be accurate, and the account is personal: do not share it.
  • You are responsible for what is done from it. If you think someone else has got in, tell us.
  • You may close it whenever you like. If you administer a band, hand that role to someone else first so the band is not left unmanaged.

Bands and those who administer them

Each band is its own space. Whoever administers it decides who joins, what role each musician has, and what content is uploaded. In inviting someone, the band undertakes to have informed them that their data is processed in Atril.

Content you upload

The sheet music, images and text you upload remain yours or your band’s. We process them only to provide the service: storing them, showing them to the musicians who should see them, and backing them up.

Copyright is your responsibility. By uploading a piece you confirm your band is entitled to use it and to make it available to its musicians. We cannot verify this, so it rests with whoever uploads it. If a rights holder demonstrates an infringement to us, we will take the content down.

What is not allowed

  • Attempting to reach another band’s or another person’s data.
  • Uploading unlawful or offensive content, or content you hold no rights to.
  • Automating requests that degrade the service, or trying to get around its limits.
  • Using Atril for anything other than running a musical group.

We may suspend an account or a band that breaches this, giving notice wherever possible.

Liability

Atril is provided as is, with reasonable care taken to keep it working. We are not liable for loss arising from an interruption of the service, from data entered incorrectly by a user, or from decisions a band makes on the basis of what the app shows.

Ending the service

Should we ever have to shut Atril down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and give every band a way to take its data with it.

Governing law

Spanish law applies. For any dispute, and unless the law imposes another venue for consumers, the courts of the controller’s domicile shall have jurisdiction.
